How dark will stain be?
Our Rajasthani henna produces a rich orange-to-deep-brown stain. The final colour depends on your body chemistry, how long you leave the paste on (we recommend 6–8 hours), and whether you seal it with a lemon-sugar mixture. Palms typically stain darkest; feet and legs may come out lighter.
Is this henna safe for sensitive skin?
Yes! Our cones contain only natural, plant-based ingredients - no PPD (para-phenylenediamine), no black henna chemicals, no synthetic additives. Eucalyptus oil has natural antibacterial properties. However, if you have known allergies to any ingredient listed, we recommend a patch test 24 hours before full application.
Why do I need to freeze the cones immediately?
Henna paste is a living, perishable product. The dye molecule (lawsone) naturally degrades over time, especially at room temperature. Freezing immediately halts this degradation and locks in full potency. Cones stored correctly in the freezer remain fresh and produce dark stains for up to 4 months.
Can I re-freeze a cone after thawing?
Yes, you can re-freeze unused cones once after thawing, though for best results we recommend using the entire cone in one session. Each thaw-refreeze cycle slightly reduces the stain intensity, so try to plan your session so you can use the full cone.
What if my order arrives warm or damaged?
We package all cones with care for safe transit. If your order arrives visibly damaged or unusually warm (particularly with standard shipping), please photograph the package and contact us at contact@rashihenna.com within 24 hours of delivery. We'll work with you to make it right.
Do you ship outside California?

How long does the henna stain last?
With proper application and aftercare, Rashi Henna stains typically last 2–3 weeks on hands and slightly less on feet. Avoid soaking hands in water for the first 24 hours, and moisturise daily with natural oils (like coconut or olive oil) to extend the life of your stain.
